Civil aviation event reporting
By ”event” we mean any safety-related event that endangers or which, if not remedied or addressed, could endanger an aircraft, its occupants or any other person and includes in particular accidents and serious incidents, and by event at risk significant for safety means any event listed in the Annexes Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1018 of 29 June 2015 establishing a list of civil aviation events that must be reported in accordance with Regulation (EU) no. 376/2014 .
Reporting events with a significant risk to civil aviation safety is mandatory. Anyone is encouraged to voluntarily report any event and any information, perceived as a real or potential danger to aviation safety, to the internal function / structure of their organization and / or directly to the AIAS, within a maximum of 72 hours.
